This is a post i wanted to blog since time. It has not to be meant as a guide or a reccomendation, it’s just my desire to express how much the music is important for me all the time, while i am working and in my spare time. In some aspects of my work, music makes me concentrate more and helps me to get inspirated and motivated in what i am doing. Normally the best moment for me to listen Music is in the morning after i got up. In the morning Music juices my movitations, my goals and probably makes me thing better.
The world of the Music has changed dramatically in the last few years, from the production to the distribution. It’s unbelievable the quantity of free music can be legally downloadable. Many websites play tracks without interruptions, all the time we get access to Internet we can listen music of our favourite Band or artist. Also the quality has improved a lot, with good speakers we can now play high quality music. What is still missing maybe it s the usage of the music or sound in websites not dedicated to the music scenery. I think in a short time people will realise that a Website can be seen as a movie and so it can have a music background.
I hope you can enjoy now my favorite Web Music applications and some nice websites music layout.

Soundcloud

Soundcloud
SoundCloud was originally started in Stockholm, Sweden, but was established in Berlin, Germany in August, 2007 by sound designer Alex Ljung and artist Eric Wahlforss. It had the intention of allowing musicians to share recordings with each other, but later transformed into a full publishing tool which also allowed musicians to distribute their music tracks.
A few months after it began operating, SoundCloud began to challenge the dominance of MySpace as a platform for musicians to distribute their music, by allowing recording artists to react more nimbly with their fans.

Lastfm

Lastfm
Last.fm is a music website, founded in the United Kingdom in 2002. It has claimed 30 million active users in March 2009. On 30 May 2007, CBS Interactive acquired Last.fm for UK£140m (US$280m).
Using a music recommender system called “Audioscrobbler”, Last.fm builds a detailed profile of each user’s musical taste by recording details of the songs the user listens to, either from Internet radio stations, or the user’s computer or many portable music devices. This information is transferred (“scrobbled”) to Last.fm’s database either via the music player itself (Rdio, Spotify, Clementine, Amarok) or via a plugin installed into the user’s music player. The data is then displayed on the user’s profile page and also compiled to create reference pages for individual artists. By April 2011 Last.fm reported more than 50 billion scrobbles.
The service is free; however, users living outside the UK, US, and Germany, require a subscription to use the radio service (€3.00 per month after a 50 track free trial). The site offers numerous social networking features and can recommend and play artists similar to the user’s favourites.

Twistradio

twistradio
Twist Radio kind of works like YouTube in that manner, since you find find mainstream and indie together. The only difference is it functions as a song aggregator instead of a video aggregator. Once you find a song you want to listen to using the iPhone app , you just tap it and it will add it to your personalized station for listening to it later. I really enjoyed the search function, because it was laid out well and easy to understand. Once I found music I liked, a quick tap had the music in my station for listening, which is the greatest feature Twist Radio has to offer.

What’s on air app

what's on air app
What’s On Air app is an advanced radio player in the palm of your hand. It keeps you up-to-date with your favorite music by detecting what songs and bands are on air. Get access to thousands of internet radio stations (local and international) and take control over them. With What’s On Air radio streams will play your preferred music only, What’s On Air finds your favorite songs and bands that are currently on air, displaying only those
that are about to be played or have just started.
