Infinvision

Infinvision Website

Infinvision helps its client build succesfull ventures online. This website has been designed by Pedro Heitor and Aiste Martinaityte, and they selected Joomla as its CMS. “We needed to have three different access levels to the content within that section. – the registered, unregistered and paid. Joomla made it a breeze to set this up and manage easily”.
Egle Karalyte, founder of the company said “We needed our website to allow multiple users to work with it by giving them diiferent acces levels and permissions”, she explains. “Joomla is absolutely free, it has efficient control of users, links, content and files, search-engine friendly URLs, content syndication (RSS), blogs, picture, galleries, archiving facilities enabling the re-use of content and a simple workflow system”. The website’s Library sections were a key factor in them choosing the CMS.

MobiCart

MobiCart

The world of mobile ecommerce is certain to be one of the faster moving retail spaces over the next few years. So when an application comes along that can put your store into the hands of milions of smartphone users without costing you a bean, it’s time to sit up and pay attention.

MobiCart is about as straightforward an application as you can imagine. Wizard-style, it runs you through the process of setting up, customising and stocking a store before giving you the option of submitting it to Apple either directly from MobiCart or by doing it yourself.

The only problem is that as you ‘design’ your store there is not visual feedback, except when you choose your own base colour-scheme. As an upgrade this shouldn’t be too hard to fix, since all we’re talking about is dropping a logo or two into a place and changing content for your products. And indeed, such a thing is on its way

Verdict Mobicart is an interesting proposition. It’s almost too easy to use – to the point where there may be a rash of clone shopping applications appearing in the App Store soon.

Shopify is a hosted service that enables you to quickly create an online store to sell your products and merchandise.”After the initial set up, Shopify has allowed non-technical admins to easily introduce content, promotional codes and new products without coding”, says Craig Dalton, one of the people behind the case. “Shopify boasts  a powerful customisation system that enables you to simply select an existing template and tailor it to your needs: ideal if you want to get your shop up and running quickly, or write your own HTML and CSS templates”. It’s this simple yet flexible system that the guys at DODOcase have taken advantage of  with their site and what really sets Shopify apart.
